The storming Bastille

In July 14 1789 Louis XVI orders troops to Paris and Versailles in case the monarchy needs to be preserved. The people of Paris wanted to arm themselves in case of attack they were smart to do that.
Parisians go to the Bastille to try and get weapons Negotiations fail, people tear down the prison. In my opinion i think that it was good for the problem to go wrong on louis xvi because louis wasn't a good person.

The Death of Marat/Forming a New Government in France

 Editorial

Jean - Paul Marat was born May 24,1743 and died on 13 July 1793. Marat often sought the comfort of a cold bath to ease violent itchiness due to a skin disease long said to have been contracted years earlier, when he was forced to hide from his enemies in the Paris sewers. Marat was killed by Charlotte Corday. Corday killed Marat by stabbing him while he was in daily routine in the tub to stop the itching. Corday testified that she had carried out the assassination alone, saying "I killed one man to save 100,000."

In my opinion i believe that its true what Corday did and say by saying that "i killed one man to save 100,000". By saying this she meant that Marat was a really violent men if he wanted to kill any one he did. So Corday saved her time to killed the person that was causing the trouble. On 17 July 1793, four days after Marat was killed, Corday was executed under the guillotine. The guillotine was a cruel machine they used to kill many people it basically chops peoples heads off.

In 1791 National Assembly created a new constitution. new. The voting rights was only taxpaying men at least 25 years old and older can vote. The constitution keeps the monarchy, but restricts its power. The church is disbanded, the church property was sold to pay off France's debts.

In my opinion i think it is right that voting was only to the people that was paying taxes (3rd estate) . because if you are not paying stuff why should you have the rights to vote.  in conclusion i feel that it was good that Charlotte Corday killed Marat. Also that the third state had the right to vote.

reign of terror french revolution

The Reign of Terror was a period of violence that occurred for one year and one month, about 4 years after the onset of the French Revolution. It was incited by conflict between rival political factions, the Girondins and the Jacobins, and marked by mass executions. After the execution of Louis XVI in 1793, the Reign of Terror began. Among the victims was Marie-Antoinette. She had been imprisoned with her children after she was separated from Louis. The picture shoe how every one was fighting.

In the country known as France where the king and queen was Marie Antoinette and king was Louis xvi. Many things can happen with a bossy king a queen that wants every thing very expensive. Things such as a strike, a war, or maybe a execution can happen. All of these things did happen and they all happen in France.

In May 16, 1770 Marie and Louis got married at the Versailles. In May 5 The Estates-General begins to meet at Versailles. It is made up of representatives from France three traditional estates: the clergy, the nobility, and the Third Estate (everybody else). The nobility was basically the first estate they were wealth. The 2nd estate was also a wealth estate but the first was more wealthier. The first estate and 2nd estate only made up 2% of the population.

The 3rd estate was the the only estate that did had to pay taxes. The 3rd estate also  made up 98% of the population. They paid taxes to the king and many people in the 3 estate did not agree to keep paying for the king and queen. The queen was buying things very expensive and wasting the money they had for the taxes on her.

King louis was executed by the 3rd estate because of many reasons. The radical republicans decided that a dead Monarch was less dangerous to the French Revolution then a living one. marie antoinette had a big influenced on the execution as well so there fore she was also executed. louis and louis was not executed the same day.
